About Public Record Feeds
The records here are published by California agencies, and each agency is named and linked below. This page covers where each feed comes from, what runs on what schedule, and what is left out before a file is sent.
What this is
Public Record Feeds takes three sets of California public records, cuts them by geography, and sends each one as a CSV attached to an email on a fixed schedule. The records are published by the state. What is sold here is the cut, the schedule and the file.
Where the records come from
- PAGA notices. New PAGA notices filed with the California LWDA, statewide, naming an employer with a California address. Source: California Labor and Workforce Development Agency, PAGA case search. The LWDA posts notices every weekday. We pull them at the end of the Californian working day and the email goes out that evening, Monday to Friday, or once a week on Mondays if you prefer.
- Contractor workers' comp renewals. California contractor licenses whose workers' compensation policy expires in the next 90 days. Source: California Contractors State License Board, public data portal. CSLB publishes its file monthly. We cut it by county and send the next 90 days of expirations every Monday.
- ABC license applications. New alcohol license applications filed with California ABC. Source: California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, new applications report. ABC publishes a report every business day; we read it the next morning and send the week on Mondays.
Every source is free and public. Each feed page links to the original so you can check any row against it.
How often the files are rebuilt
The LWDA posts PAGA notices on weekdays. The PAGA pull runs every day, at the end of the Californian working day. ABC publishes a report on business days. The ABC pull runs every day, the morning after the report date. The CSLB file is published monthly and is pulled on the second of the month. The previews and samples on this site are rebuilt every Monday.
What is not in the files
We drop rows where the business name looks like a person. We blank law firm entries that are a person's name or a self-represented filer. We blank email addresses and phone numbers in every column except the business phone column.
No feed is built to carry a person's name, and no page on this site names a person.

Anything about a feed, a file or a subscription goes to support@publicrecordfeeds.com. Replies to any feed email reach the same place, and a reply cancels a subscription.
