LWDA case number

An LWDA case number is the number the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency uses to identify a PAGA case. The PAGA case search lists each case under it, in the first column of its results, headed LWDA #.

The term is the agency's own. It appears on the LWDA's PAGA page at labor.ca.gov, and the PAGA case search at cadir.my.salesforce-sites.com/PagaSearch explains how to search for LWDA case numbers. The PAGA file on this site carries it in its case_number column, not in lwda_number, which holds a different number from the same search.
