In Orange County, 1,938 contractor licenses on the CSLB classification lists, downloaded on 4 September 2026, have a workers' compensation policy that has no cancellation date recorded and expires on or after that date and on or before 3 December 2026, 90 days after it.

That is 21.7% of the county's 8,915 policy holders, the licenses with a current policy, against 22.9% statewide. Orange County's 1,938 are 8.3% of the 23,235 expiring across California, and it ranks 3rd of the state's 58 counties by the number expiring.
