In Sonoma County, 757 contractor licenses on the CSLB classification lists, downloaded on 4 September 2026, have a workers' compensation policy that has no cancellation date recorded and expires on or after that date and on or before 3 December 2026, 90 days after it.

That is 28.5% of the county's 2,658 policy holders, the licenses with a current policy, against 22.9% statewide. Sonoma County's 757 are 3.3% of the 23,235 expiring across California, and it ranks 10th of the state's 58 counties by the number expiring.
